Mom-Yes, but you need a phone.
Me-Ma, I went to England ALONE when I was fifteen and didn't have a phone. I'll be ok
Mom- mmhm

So in conclusion I am now researching cheap pre-pay cell phones for my time in the UK.

What's in your fridge?

My fridge is screaming GO GROCERY SHOPPING. But since I leave soon, I'm trying to use up everything I have.

In my fridge:
1 container of butter spread
1/2 package of bacon
1 wedge of laughing cow cheese
1 pitcher of tea
a tiny amount of organic salad
1 container of french dressing
1/2 jar of organic strawberry jam
3 bottles of Yuengling

In my freezer:
4 frozen chicken breasts
1 microwavable pot pie
1 frozen dinner
1 box of sugar free popsicles

In my pantry:
1 pretty full jar of peanut butter
1 new jar of vodka spagehetti sauce
1 pretty full box of noodles
A couple of random cans of vegatables (like cream corn...I dunno what I was thinking!)

It's going to be an interesting few weeks. What's in your pantry?

What I want to do on my trip:

Visit Haworth
Go to a 'real' pub (I will be staying in Hampstead...one of the most expensive suburbs in London! I would really like to go somewhere not as 'high' class...)
Spend an entire Saturday in a museum
Buy Hunter Boots (my BIG splurge...)
Make one British friend (I would say tons, but I'm only going to be there for one month!)
Go punting in Cambridge (I spent a summer there in High School. I can't wait to go back)

And mostly I just want to walk around, people watch, learn new slang and oh yea I guess I'll have to take my class!

Changes!

I haven't posted in over a month because I've been working SO much! I'm leaving for a month long trip to London in approx. 3 weeks and so I need to save all the money I can.

London is so expensive! Therefore, I'm going to change the 'theme' of my blog for the rest of the summer to focus on my trip preparations and my actual trip.

The frugal coed is going ABROAD
