| I always said my budget breaker was $3.50 a gallon. That would take $35 to fill up my tank. I usually need to fill up twice a month, so $75 a month.
Now gas is $3.83 here, so I'm trying to find alternative ways to get around. I could afford to keep driving in my Geo Prizm and A/C, but then I would have to cut back on my entertainment/alcohol budget and folks that's not happening.
I've moved into a house a little under 2 miles from school and since I'm working there every weekday, I've decided to walk to work every day. I tried today and it takes 40 minutes each way (I walk slowwwwww).
So, I'm challenging myself to walk to school every day for two weeks.
